There is information about parties, gatherings, and festivals that might be happening. Any kind of special guest that is slated to visit campus would certainly be big college news. Other than newspapers and online websites, college news is also shared by way of good old word of mouth. Gossip, chat, and news all spread like fire through a college campus, mostly because the students are interested in things that give them a break from the everyday routine of studying and going to class.
Students in college talk, and they talk a lot, and once the information is revealed about the big fraternity on campus hosting a huge toga party next Saturday, it wont take long for that to become common college news. When students really want to reach out to fellow peers with important information, they may create fliers with the college news printed on them to hang in study halls, laundry rooms, and bulletin boards all over campus. There are many ways to spread college stories around the entire campus, and whether a person tacks up fliers or posts an announcement on the Internet, college stories will always be a source of entertainment and knowledge, at the very least.
